April showers brought May flowers, and now the lovely summer weather is upon us! As the temperature heats up and the days get longer, my wardrobe calls for a drastic change. according to Vogue, summer trends include kimonos, black mesh and ornate lace; but, I have compiled a more day-to-day guide to trends for summer 2015.

1. Head-to-toe white. Although no one should even attempt to pull this look off until Memorial Day weekend, the all white ensemble is a classic summer look.

2. Scalloped edges. Dresses, tops, skirts and beyond…scallop details can really add a bit of sass to any look.

3. Black & white. Who doesn’t love this timeless color combination? Whether keeping it monochromatic or adding a pop of color, black and white will prevail this summer.

4. One- shoulder silhouette. Why wear two straps when you can only have one? This fun silhouette can spice up any summer look. But, be sure to even out your tan lines before wearing!

5. Jumpsuits. Comfortable and unique, jumpsuits are perfect for any summer occasions. A fun printed jumpsuit can be worn on the beach, while a structed, black jumpsuit can be worn to wedding…the possibilities are endless!

6. Palazzo pants. Fashion has finally done it- an adorable pant that feels like pajamas! Light, airy and sassy, the palazzo pants look great with tank tops, blouses and even tees.

7. Statement necklaces. Long or short, diamonds or pearls, silver or gold…statement necklaces are back! With the ability to add spunk to any outift, the statement necklace is certainly a girl’s best friend.
