MKDesigns Goes To The Islands

With my love of fashion and knowledge of sewing, my friends often ask for my help in all their styling needs. This week, one of my fabulous friends- Kathryn- presented me with such a fashion task. A pair of her favorite pairs of palazzo pants, embellished with black and white elephants, had ripped. Instead of simply patching the hole, Kathryn and I decided that giving the pants a fresh new look was the better option.
With a few snips, a trip to the fabric store, and an hour at the sewing machine, I transformed the torn palazzo pants into a sassy beach coverup! Now, Kathryn has the perfect beachwear as she relaxes in the Cayman Islands for spring break. I am proud to say that one of MKDesigns pieces have traveled internationally.
